My Proposed Terrazo Floor design for the CAK Atrium

My design uses a variety of readily-available Terrazzo poured flooring to make up the mosaic design. Depicted are various locations in our region including the Pro Football Hall of Fame, The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, The Park systems and Bridges in multiple counties, our farmlands and Amish country, Soap Box Derby, The Goodyear Blimp, Ferris Wheel to honor our amusement parks and fairs and of course, an airplane!
Approximately 36 colors of Terrazzo flooring product was used to develop the mosaic postcard.

My other public art installation include:

I was commissioned to create the first Augmented Reality (AR) Murals in Stark County in late fall, 2019.

​Three are at the Belden Village Mall. One is 16' x 22'; another is 11' x 16' and the 3rd is 10' x 10' (2 shown on right, the 3rd was completed to celebrate their 50th year just as the pandemic began).

All were completed within budget and earlier than expected.

A yet-to-be-revealed mural of Mother Angelica's life at St. Raphael Bookstore highlighting her new museum in 2020. The mural was 9' x 24' and was completed within budget and on time.

I was also commissioned to illustrate the cover of the Mother Angelica Tour Prayer book in 2019. The cover was completed on time and within budget.

A mural in North Canton Church of Christ of the books of the bible. I also helped manage the construction of their church addition 15 years ago while in the construction industry.

A fun fact...I won $1,000 for our local foodbank from NBC's Making It...at Home this month! Nick Offerman and Amy Poehler share the win on their video!​

CAK RFQ Proposal Criteria and Sources

I based my assessment and design on Terrazzco Brand colors from this brochure. A poured Terrazzo floor is approximately $30-$90 a square foot and incorporating my mosaic design into the 2,700 square foot area should equate to approximately $45 a square foot and be well within the budget of $150,000 for the complete project.
