How it all happened...
|
August, 2019, Kari Pekar emailed me and said she reviewed my website and asked if I would like to submit some concepts for 2 Mural locations in Belden Village Mall. How exciting! I’d love to contribute to our local art scene...so I met with her and surveyed the locations. One, I was told, was to have a Canton theme, the other, just bright and fun!
I happily came up with two fun and vibrant designs for both locations. One was a nod to throwback arcades and the fun claw machine, naming it The Canton Claw! The other was for a donation wall, which would also have the BV logo applied. I wanted this to be an interactive photo opp wall that would hopefully be shared by visitors! Releasing your individual beauty or capturing natural beauty was the theme. |

Kari contacted me and said they wanted me to paint the butterfly mural...on a whole, new wall! I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to share something fun for people to interact with...so join me as this wall comes to life, near the new Dave and Buster’s entrance!
